who is nine lives?

Nine Lives was founded to give a voice to those who aren’t typically handed a mic.

Our riders are highly engaged in the cycling community. They work hard and play even harder. We fight not just for podiums, but for representation in the field. It’s more important than ever to champion diversity.

We know that we win races in training, not on race day. Rain or shine you can find us out on the trails and roads less traveled. The gnarliest rides often leave us with the best memories.

Not only do we strive to be fast, but we want to make the whole field faster! Join us for a clinic or ask us a question any time, we’re happy to share our collective knowledge. Together we’ve won everything from 100 mile MTB races to Cyclocross national championships.

chloe spritz

(She/Her)
Singlespeed Cyclocross world champion? Data driven tech dork? Goofy girl that trips a lot while walking? Yup, Chloë’s the whole package. With 18 years of experience and a whole lot of time spent in the saddle she’s a force to be reckoned with on a good day — on a bad day she’s unbeatable. Her nutrition of choice is nerds gummy clusters. Her biggest weakness is dairy. She’s currently on her last life and trying to make this one count.

cade spritz

(they / them)
Relative newbie to cycling, but no stranger to competition, Cade is developing into an absolute dirt demon. Their first love (besides their wife & coach Chloë of course) is cross country mountain biking, but gravel and cyclocross come in close behind. Cade will do almost anything for some quality ice cream and can probably out last you on a mechanical bull. They are on life 4 or 5 of 9.

Robin cummings

(They/She)
The proud holder of a downhill road KOM that now has a stop sign in it, 2022 Enby SSCXWC, and 2025 US Enby CX champion, Robin is a passionate advocate on behalf of their cats, who are better than any of your pets, your family’s pets, the pets of anybody you’ve ever met, and perhaps even the reader themselves. When not busy with such advocacy, she loves any bike (that has a freehub, don’t ask) and reading for grad school (do ask, but only with time available). At least three lives in, could be more!

tori riemersma

(She/they)
A reformed roadie and former messenger turned ultra-endurance goblin, Tori prefers her races to be 36+ hours with a healthy dose of hike-a-bike. She’s now fully aboard the gravel hype train. After a decade of racing everything from stage races in New Mexico, to alleycats in DC, to bikepacking races in Kyrgyzstan, she’s more at home on two wheels than on two feet. She’s lost count of how many lives she has left and is sincerely hoping it doesn’t become a problem.
